The first thing that I want to comment on is the idea of people doing workouts for temporary periods of time instead of looking at the whole picture as a lifelong journey to health. The problem with a lot of these ways of thinking is that whenever you go through and finally get the results that you were after you’ll come to discover that you’re results are short-lived and that you’ve got to keep working out if you want to KEEP what you’ve got. This is something that’s difficult to understand for some people but I think this is an idea that’s going to really help you unlock your hidden potential when it comes to getting in shape.
You’ve got to stop looking at the problem from a 2-D perspective. This is something that’s going to be done for the rest of your life and because of this is something that you should start taking steps to integrate into the rest of your life. Doing it this way is going to give you a much more holistic approach when it comes to getting in shape and is also going to provide you with a much more stable foundation from which to work with as well. You’ve got to really commit to this way of life if you want it to succeed and I can tell you right now that if you aren’t doing it this way then you’re just not going to be seeing the types of results that you could hope to if you turned this program into a lifestyle decision as opposed to a one-time-thing.
You see once you start looking at it all from this new perspective you’re going to have more energy, be more motivated when it comes to doing things and are all around just going to have that great set of habits in place that are going to build you and build you up instead of tearing you down and leaving you shortsighted. This is something that you can argue with me about but I really think that if you’re trying to get in shape you might as well STAY in shape and adopt a workout plan for life.
